DISPENSATION
#1 April 22, 2006
By virtue of the authority in me vested as Most Excellent Grand High Priest, by the Ancient Customs and Regulations of the Craft and by the Constitution of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Maine, I do hereby grant permission to all Constituent Chapters in this grand jurisdiction to receive, refer, ballot and work degrees on any candidate(s) of their own or from other Constituent Chapters of Maine who are eligible and properly attested, during this Grand Chapter year. Also, this dispensation covers any chapter to work in any Lodge Hall in Maine where permission has been granted to do so.
STANDING REGULATIONS
Passed at the Annual Convocation, April 22, 2006

By virtue of the authority in me vested as Most Excellent Grand High Priest, by
the Ancient Customs and Regulations of the Craft and by the Constitution of the
Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Maine, I do hereby put forth the following
directives:
During the opening of chapters when the HP orders the CH to organize the
chapter, the HP raps 3 (three) times to have the companions
stand, place their hands over their heart while “lights” are displayed,
drop hands after lights have been displayed and remain standing until the CH
orders the companions to be in order, then all sit together as HP gives one (1)
rap.

During opening and closing when CH forms companions at the altar, kneeling is optional (if at least one companion elects to stand, then ALL will stand)

All candidates for the Royal Arch Degree will be allowed to watch the opening of the Chapter.#4 There are four different places to which the Bible will be opened when working the different degrees:
