Note: All inspection dates must be considered final as listed.

All inspections must be held on the day assigned, at the hour specified and no other hour unless an extreme emergency shall arise. The Grand Commander shall determine this. At inspections all officers must be members of the Commandery inspected to receive full credit.

The work of the evening will be in the Order of the Temple on one candidate. Saturday Inspections will begin at 11:00 AM and evening Inspections at 5:00 PM. and proceed to and including the posting of the Templar Gauard before the meal.

Do not start the libations prior to the meal.
Meals will be served at 12:00 P.M. or 6:00 P.M. SHARP.

At 1:00 P.M. or 7:00 P.M. the Inspecting Officer and suite will be received, followed by the opening of the Commandery in Full Form, the work to be then completed.

The candidate shall wear a Knights Templar uniform, either the frock type or mantle and cap, whichever is the adopted attire for that Commandery, when brought to the foot of the lines. If he has not yet secured his own uniform, borrow one for the Knighting.

When the Commander calls on a Sir Knight for remarks, do so before calling on the Inspecting Officer.

At Inspection, all Rituals and Tactics (including the Commandery handbook at end of Tactics), together with the records of the Treasurer and Recorder, must be present in the Asylum and will be called for by the Inspecting Officer.

The copy of the 1987 Constitution and Statutes of the Grand Encampment, Knights Templar of the United States of America together with the Statutes of the Grand Commandery of Maine, and the By-Laws and Charter or Certificate of Charter of the Commandery, shall be present in the Asylum and will be called for by the inspecting officer.
